Asus has introduced the Ultrabook Zenbook UX301 and UX302. These distinctive features is the metal casing and protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

These models, first shown at Computex 2013 are the new generation of Ultrabooks Series Zenbook. They are equipped with an IPS display size of 13.3 inches diagonally. UX302 1920 x 1080 pixels, and in the case UX301 - 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 pixels. Display - touchscreen is capable of recognizing multiple simultaneous touches.

The base of the new Ultrabooks are Intel Core quarter-generation, up to dual-core Core i7-4558U. More specifically, UX301 can be a processor Intel Core i5-4200U, i7-4500U or i7-4558U, and UX302 - Intel Core i5-4200U or i7-4500U. Graphic system is the integrated graphics core Intel Iris, but the model UX302 can be additionally equipped with a discrete graphics card Nvidia GeForce GT 730M, supporting technology Optimus. The amount of RAM DDR3L-1600 is 4 or 8 GB (UX301), 2 GB or 4 GB (UX302). The configuration includes a solid state drive with up to 512GB (UX301), or a hybrid hard drive up to 750 GB with 16 GB of flash memory (UX302).

The mobile computers include wireless interfaces Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0, mini-DisplayPort video outputs and HDMI. Both models are available in white and blue colors, equipped with a keyboard with an automatically controlled lighting and a large touchpad that supports gesture recognition in Windows 8. The manufacturer also mentions sound technology ASUS SonicMaster.

Model UX301 with dimensions 325 x 226 x 15,5 mm and weighs 1.2 kg. UX302 model has dimensions of 325 x 226 x 17,2 mm and a weight of 1.45 kg. Battery capacity in any case is 50 W � h

Ultrabooks come with Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro.
