The French company Archos, well known in the market for its multimedia players and inexpensive tablet computers, plans to soon release a new portable gaming console Archos Gamepad. The device is equipped with a 7-inch capacitive display, based on a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor with integrated graphics chip quad Mali 400 MP and running the operating system Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
The device has a number of physical buttons, Google certification, and access to the online store Google Play. In addition the company Archos is planning to sign the relevant documents with the leading developers of games for Android, for further support in games of physical buttons and sticks model Archos Gamepad.
