Initially, it was planned that the processors Bristol Ridge in the performance of Socket AM4 will appear on the market earlier than the more progressive media of the Zen architecture of Ryzen family, and this will allow owners of appropriate motherboards to "wait out difficult times."  However, in reality hybrid Bristol Ridge processors began to be retailed as a stand-alone product already after Ryzen appeared on sale, and now they are of some interest for those who are ready to assemble the system with the Socket AM4 connector in stages. As for the timing of Intel Coffee Lake processors  announcement for desktop systems, there is a lot of conflicting information, but many sources agree that they will be submitted before the end of the year.  Intel itself has publicly promised to present them in the autumn of this year, and this formulation leaves the opportunity to do so in September and in October.  German colleagues were lucky enough to find mention of desktop processors Coffee Lake in the database on the Intel site. Acer on the "zero" day of the exhibition IFA 2017 held a presentation of its new products, including the latest desktop game computer Predator Orion 9000, which, according to the developers, is "the most powerful PC company ever created."   At the stand, the company presented a version of Predator Orion 9000 with a pair of video cards AMD Radeon RX Vega 64, but the PC version will be available on the market with both three and four graphics accelerators.  A version with a pair of video cards NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will also be available.  And of course, the basic modifications can only boast of single video cards. At the heart of older versions of Predator Orion 9000, including the one captured on the stand, is the Intel Core i9-7920XE processor, which has 18 cores and 36 streams, and operates at frequencies of 2.6-4.2 GHz.  The processor adds up to 128 GB of four-channel DDR4 memory.   In the company of Predator Orion 9000, Acer introduced a new game monitor Predator X35, a diagonal of 35 inches and a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, built, one hundred importantly, on the panel type VA.  This monitor has a high sweep rate of 200 Hz, and also supports NVIDIA G-Sync technology.  Note also the response time of 4 ms, support for HDR and 90% coverage of DCI-P3 color space. AquaComputer has expanded its range with a new water-block with a full cover designed to cool video cards based on Vega 10 GPUs. The novelty is called simply and clearly - Kryographics VEGA , and it is intended for installation on Radeon RX Vega 56 and Vega 64 reference video cards, as well as on Video card series Frontier Edition, which are made on the same printed circuit boards. The base of the water block Kryographics VEGA is made of a massive bar of copper and in some places reaches a thickness of 10 mm.  In addition to the Vega 10 graphics processor and the nearby HBM2 memory, the base is in contact with the power system elements, as is the case with a full-coverage waterblock.  The water block will be available in versions with a base of "bare" copper, and with a nickel-plated base. The upper part of the casing is made of transparent acrylic and is equipped with a backlight.  Note that a metal cover is also attached to the water block, covering that part of the printed circuit board that is almost completely unoccupied, which gives the cooler Kryographics VEGA a finished look.  Also, the manufacturer notes that the terminal for connecting fittings can be replaced with another one of the Kryoconnect line. Water block AquaComputer Kryographics VEGA has already appeared on sale in the official online store of the German manufacturer for the recommended price of 110 euros.
