As you know, augmented reality glasses Google Glass have a microphone and special software that allows the user to control with voice commands.  The potential of this device made   scientists from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  They have developed an application that is designed primarily for people with hearing impairments. According to CNet, a team of researchers has developed an application that converts human speech into text.  Subtitles will be displayed on the screen points.  System is proposed to use in conjunction with a smartphone, into a microphone .   "This system allows users, like me, to focus on the facial expressions and lip movements of the speaker. If hearing impaired understands it, he can continue the conversation immediately, without waiting for the subtitles on the screen. Nevertheless, if the user missed or did not hear a few words then he can always look at the screen Google Glass, which displays all of the text, "- said of hearing Professor Jim Foley (Jim Foley), who participated in the development of the program. According to project leader, Professor Ted Starnera (Thad Starner), Google Glass have their own microphone, but it  is only intended for the user. Now the application detects speech in six languages, including Russian, English, Spanish, French, Korean and Japanese.  It will be launched in the near future.
