Philips has officially announced its quad-core Android-smartphone midrange line Xenium model W8510. The device will receive a rugged metal case with the dimensions: 138.5 x 69.7 x 10.4 mm and a weight equal to 173 grams.
The device is based on 1.2-GHz quad-core processor from MediaTek company , a high-quality 4.7-inch IPS-display with (working resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels) and the viewing angle is 180 degrees, 1 GB RAM, 2 GB internal memory, a slot for memory cards format micro-SD (up to 32GB). Also available 8-megapixel rear camera, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth adapters, battery capacity 3300 mAh battery that promises a truly impressive battery life: up to 35 days of standby time, up to 18 hours of talk time and up to
14 hours of web browsing, including, module Wi-Fi. Available also two slots for SIM-cards. The device can operate in WCDMA 900/2100 MHz and GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz.
The smartphone will also support fast charging technology. It should be also noted that the device has a special button that allows you to reduce power consumption of hardware devices.
Philips Xenium W8510 smartphone will go on sale at a price of about � 260.
